Sector: Public

Grieve-Rd-Wren-R

Oak Tree Housing Association’s Grieve Road / Wren Road regeneration project comprises 120 attractive, sustainable and energy efficient new homes, including special needs accommodation and a learning difficulties unit, overlooking the Clyde Estuary in Greenock, Inverclyde.

The design process considered and incorporated a number of sustainable features including house orientation, micro climate considerations, breathing wall construction, recycled paper insulation, passive ventilation, local material selection and SUDS drainage system.  The project has also been designed to achieve Secure By Design accreditation.

The project was procured on a traditional basis.

Project Value: £12 Million
