• Rating Assessments and Appeals

  • At Allied Surveyors Scotland we have a dedicated team who have many years of experience in this ever more complicated field. Our task is to ensure that the business rates you pay are as low as possible.

    The last revaluation was on 1st April 2010 and your rateable value can be checked on the Scottish Assessors website www.saa.gov.uk

    Material changes in circumstances and unjust assessments may mean that your liability for business rates can be reduced however unless challenged they will be effective for the next five years.

• Energy Reports

  • An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required on all commercial properties which are now sold or leased and have a useful floor area greater than 50m2. Only an approved organisation can provide EPCs and Allied Surveyors Scotland through Elmhurst Energy and RICS are an approved organisation with qualified energy assessors.
