Allied Surveyors Scotland completes one of East Lothian’s largest industrial lettings in 2021
Allied Surveyors Scotland has completed one of East Lothian’s largest industrial lettings in 2021.
The firm’s east coast commercial agency has struck a deal to let 7,500 sq ft spanning across two workshops, office space and stores, plus a quarter acre of yard, at 6 Newhailes Industrial Estate in Musselburgh.
Open Safety Equipment, global specialists in designing and manufacturing diving rebreather apparatus, has taken a 10-year lease from a private landlord at a headline rent of £7.00 per sq ft.
“Demand for good quality industrial space continues to move at pace across the Edinburgh region, driven by a lack of supply,” commented Allied Surveyors’ director of commercial agency (east), Iain Mercer.
“This property offered Open Safety the expansion space they desired in a strong location with good communication links.”
Also in East Lothian, Allied Surveyors has acquired a new 10-year lease at 13 Market Place in North Berwick for beautician business, That Rosie Glow.
“That Rosie Glow had been searching for a unit in East Lothian for a while with North Berwick the preferred location to open their second outlet,” added Mr Mercer.
