Welcome to the commercial agency department in Edinburgh where we specialise in agency, valuation and property management.

The office was first opened by our director of commercial agency, Iain Mercer, in 2018 when we were based Walker Street alongside our colleagues in residential surveying.  Due to the consistent growth curve in our business activities, the commercial department relocated in November 2022 to larger premises at 2 West Maitland Street in the city’s Haymarket area.

In March 2023, we completed the acquisition of Edinburgh Commercial Property – a Leith-based commercial agency business of 30 years standing.  This strategic move significantly added to our client roster and brought additional services in-house, such as property management and factoring.

Iain and his team offer insightful knowledge, market insight and impartial advice to their clients to help navigate an often complex market. Our qualified surveyors have extensive experience in retail, office and industrial agency cases across Edinburgh, Lothians, Borders and Perthshire delivering outstanding results in the process.  Our services to landlords and tenants include rent reviews, investment advice and lease renewals.

We also provide a dedicated and highly sought after valuation service covering areas such as inheritance tax to building reinstatement valuations, as well as valuation reports for private clients, SIPPS, property companies and a wide range of lenders.
