Material changes in circumstances and unjust assessments may mean that your liability for business rates can be reduced however unless challenged they will be effective for the next five years.

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required on all commercial properties which are now sold or leased and have a useful floor area greater than 50m2. Only an approved organisation can provide EPCs and Allied Surveyors Scotland through Elmhurst Energy and RICS are an approved organisation with qualified energy assessors.
