A Hat Trick of North Agency Deals!
The Inverness office of Allied Surveyors Scotland has recently completed 3 agency deals across the north of Scotland.
The former Lilliput Nursery on Main Street, New Elgin has been sold for residential redevelopment. The property had been put up for sale following the retirement of the previous owner and following interest from a number of parties, the sale concluded in December 2020.
Another success story is Lyle House in Fairways Business Park, where three offices have been let on the ground floor. Epos North Limited and Smart Moves have both taken office suites within the building meaning that it is now fully let.
Director Andy Gray has commented; “Clearly the past 12 months have been challenging for everyone so it is fantastic to see some agency deals conclude. The sale at New Elgin shows a local developer spotting an opportunity and having the confidence to move forward with a change of use. The two lettings at Lyle House demonstrate that despite the concerns which exist about the fragile state of the office market there are people willing to expand their businesses and commit to long term leases. It is especially pleasing for our clients as this means that their ground floor office complex is now fully let.”
As well as disposing of space, the office has been fielding offers for some of their other properties and continues to bring new property to the market. Andy concluded by saying: “There are clearly investors and developers active at the current time and we have had offers for 5 of our properties in the past 2 months and this activity is really encouraging for the Highland commercial property market going forward. We are also excited to be bringing some new opportunities to the market across the region in the coming weeks”.
